Stonehaven Harbour

Stonehaven is home to the largest harbour in Aberdeenshire, with three basins and around 150 moorings.

Not only is it the largest, it is also one of the most picturesque. Take a walk down on a sunny weekend and you'll see why it's so popular with the locals! Sample a range of real ales from around Scotland and the rest of the world at either of the two pubs, or if you're looking for a bite to eat, there are three top class restaurants to choose from. Seafood, of course, a speciality!

The harbour is also home to the oldest surviving structure in Stonehaven, the Tolbooth. Once used as an early prison, it is now a museum. Entry is free!

September this year welcomes the annual harbour hi-jinks events. Raft racing, built entirely by their passengers, is the main feature of the day, with competitions and local stalls running throughout.
