Stonehaven Folk Festival
One of the most important dates on the folk music calendar is the Stonehaven Folk Festival.
Held annually in July, this year will see the 22nd event! The folk festival is one of the most important events in Stonehaven and attracts music lovers from all over the world every year without fail.
Performances and Workshops
The Stonehaven Folk Festival features a range of performances and workshops over a four day period. The main musical events are held at the Town Hall (off the Market Square) while there are many other evening performances and sessions at pubs and hotels across the town.
At the outdoor swimming pool, there is even an "aqua ceilidh" you may enjoy! Music from a range of artists.
Tickets and Accommodation
Tickets sell out fast so be sure to get in quick. Prices are around £18 per concert however weekend tickets are available which also include access to the many workshops. Weekend tickets start at around £50 for Adults, £42 for Concessions and £20 for children.
Such is the popularity of the festival, many local hotels and bed and breakfasts are fully booked. Camping for the period of the folk festival is available at Mineralwell park, just five minutes walk from the Market Square.
